Find out more about what makes our teams tick and what inspires them, both inside and outside of their Jacks of London stores.
I trained in my hometown of Gloucester as a hairdresser. I got my first salon job at 14, I stayed there until I was 17 when I then moved into full time barbering and I have been a barber for 12 years now.
Why did you become a barber?
It was the next step after my hairdressing training, I just fell into barbering & here I am now! I still love it 12 years later!
If you weren't a barber what would you like to do?
I always wanted to work in this industry but I would say something in the art or fashion world otherwise.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Lazy days at home with my husband, junk food, movies & not moving from the sofa
Favourite weekend activity?
I love the city I live in, so anything London based - sightseeing, shopping, bars, restaurants
One superpower, what would it be?
To never grow old
What is your favourite haircut this season and why?
Low fade back & sides into long textured length on the top. I like that you can create texture and shape with the length and it is versatile
Best thing about working at Jacks?
Working with a great team in a lovely area of London and always being busy.
